Bishop Byrne students attend Walk to Life event

The following Bishop Byrne Middle & High School students and faculty were in attendance at the 30th annual Walk for Life in Memphis, Tennessee, sponsored by Tennessee Citizens concerned for Life, Inc.: Charlie Moore, Arterean Gibson, Coleman Smith, Sister Mary Louis Baltz, Sister Jane Dominic Laurel and Sister Marie Vianney. The walk commemorated the 33rd anniversary of the U. S. Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade decision, legalizing abortion-on-demand. The main speaker, Dr. Thomas Lindberg, Senior, Pastor of First Assembly of God Church in Cordova, spoke passionately on the need for citizens to take a stand to help the most defenseless in our society--the unborn. He further called for and urged a response to any act of injustice. Do not remain silent. Be civil, stay within the law, but do not be silent.
